More then just a simple lamp, Domenica wants to be a memory… a reminiscence of our origins, without loosing touch with modernity and innovation. It has been created in plaster, as in the most classic of artisan traditions, hand texturized and then broken, so to reveal its skeleton: the metallic structure of which it is essentially made of. Developing this product was a genuinely interesting lighting design process: choosing the patterns to adopt, modeling its shape with clay in order to create molds for its prototypes and finally reaching production stage. Domenica is born from the client, of whom she narrates passion and origins.
